However e food is nt so nice..maybe i ve high expectations for e food? Hmm but still i feel e food during Marcia ROM at e resturant is better.
The wedding was a v sweet 1 starting off wif a video showing when e couple 1st met till they getting married. It's a pity our table was at e corner so i cant really c e video v clearly. But e music was gd. They even had a band of 3 guys playing guitars gg from table to table to sing. Marcia Australia fren Anna, flew dwn to help her & be e emcee for e nite. Frm her, i c distinct culture diff btw ang moh & chinese. She is so friendly & cute, everybody is lovely, everything is wonderful to her. As compared to her, i am so quiet, so reserved, so nt sociable. Don noe y i am like so shy..
Marcus mom & dad went on stage to thank everybody for coming. His mom thank all her frens, her bosses & colleagues from singtel, sec sch frens & even MPs from i forgot which GRCs. The table beside us, is seated wif all her big guests. She point out each individual ones & thank them for their time..wow..After tt is e dad's turn. Haha wif big contrast, he started speaking in China accent mandarin, thanking his frens who flew from China. The guy side parents are more quiet, i tink is coz more guests are frm e female side. After some speech we got 'yum sang'. I tink for most tt i been, e 'yum sang' is always so loud & ppl scream till face turn red, but for dis, it is 1 done wif much civillisation.
After e end of e dinner, we helped to bring stuffs up to e hotel rm. E rm was a grand suite, big 1 wif 2 rms..only thing is it don ve a sea view. I rem my cousin 1 was at fullerton & got a v nice sea view thou e rm was much smaller. Inside e rm, i heard e jie meis toking abt e throwing of e bride bouquet of flowers. Marcus was quick to comment tt i shd stand further away if his sis is to throw..reason being he has no money nw. He was serious enough to point out tt his sis caught a bouquet at a wedding last yr & so 1 yr later is her turn. He is so comical! I am glad for e whole dinner end off nicely, jus tt i pity e bride & groom who like whole nite don ve time to eat but busy wif all e arrangments. I realized tt having a wedding dinner can be so so tiring & stressful..
